Kamalgad Trek

Weekend Adventure Holiday.. Feb 6th to 7th, 2016
Overnight Jungle Trek and Camping in Wilderness, Explore Rural Life of Maharashtra.. village, farms, countryside wildlife, Building Tom Sawyer Raft, Swim in River and more..

Day 1-Saturday 6th Feb
6am : Early Morning reach our pick up points Dadar and Vashi; Enroute BreakFast – Travel by non ac Bus/Car as per group size.
11-12pm Reach base campsite Krishna River Camp and refresh
12.30to 1.30pm lunch – veg/non veg village cooked meals on the buffet
2-3pm – swim in the river and bamboo raft ride
4pm Start for Kamalgad overnight Jungle trek
5pm Reach Base village Nandgane
5-7.30pm- Start ascending and enjoy the setting sun along with the picturesque view of Krishna River and Balkavdi Dam
7.30pm- Reach Mid way ; relax and begin pitching tents
7.30-8.30pm- start collecting wood for jungle cooking
8.30-10.00pm leisure time for adventure stories/singing and yes ghost stories too
10pm- Campfire
10.30pm- lights off
Day 2-Saturday 7th Feb
7.am- Wake up call
7.30-8.30am- Break Fast
8.30-9.30- begin ascending to reach the peak of Kamalgad
9.30-11am- brief decend and start moving towards Navra Navri Dongar
11am-12pm Start decending and reach the base i.e Nandgane village
12-1pm – return journey to Wai, enroute visit the strawberry farms pluck , munch strawberries.
1pm – Lunch at Wai- fixed on the menu.
2pm- Start return journey
4pm- Evening Tea
7pm – Final drop at Vashi/Dadar
Trek cost
Rs.3000 per person, includes all meals, travel expenses, guide/expert expenses, strawberry gift.
Note: Trekkers have to carry their own tents which we will provide (over 1kg each) , sleeping mats, sleeping bags, blankets. Also while trekking or overnight stay we don’t get any washroom facilities so answering nature's call is always out in woods.

1. Accommodation in group tents on sharing basis
2. All transfers by private vehicle
3. All Veg or NV Meals (i.e. 2 Breakfast, 2 Lunch and 1 Dinner)
4. Guide and Expertise charges
5. All Permit and taxes

1. Dinner on Day 02
