(Vihigaon Waterfall forest department is no longer allowing rappelling here until further notice).

Karjat - Bhorgaon - One Tree Hill - Matheran Trek
Date: March 3, 2013.Experiences.. Early morning breakfast at Local Dhaba in Karjat .. Dug Duggi Ride (Local Rural Rickshaw) from Karjat to Bhorgaon - Trek from Bhorgaon to One Tree Hill starts on open scrub land and ascends a open plateau - finally gets into thick forest as we start our climb towards Matheran (Forest On The Hill Head).. Late Lunch at Matheran .. A Quick Express Shopping at Matheran .. Hike from Matheran upto Dasturi Naka .. Hitch a Cab from Dasturi Naka.
Trek Classification - Easy (Total Duration 2 hours climb and 1.5 hours on easy Pagdandi (mud foot patch)..
Camp Fee: Rs.400/- per head.
Includes: Dug-Duggi Fare (Karjat to Bhorgaon), Share Taxi Fare (Dasturi to Neral) and Trek Management Charges..
Exludes: Train Tickets, or Matheran Entry Tickets, Food..
Planned Schedule:
6:30 am Meeting at Dadar Central Station (Local Train Station, we board train to leave for Karjat).
8:00 am Meeting at Karjat Station (Platform Number 1), near the exit.
Quick breakfast at Dhaba near Karjat Station, Introduction / Induction across the breakfast.

9:00 am Start trek for Matheran
11:30 am One Tree Hill
One Tree Hill to Matheran Main Market Hike
1:00 pm Expected to reach Matheran Market
Lunch at Matheran and quick shopping
3:00 pm Start form Dasturi Naka
4:00 pm Take Cab from Dasturi Naka to Neral
4:30 pm Take first Train out of Karjat for Mumbai
Note: Kindly carry packed snacks and water for trek (two liters water per head).
